The hat, at this time, is not being rewarded from completing the "Supreme Sacrifice" achievement for either L4D or L4D2. I have completed both, and at the time of writing this, received nothing. Hobolegs 22:55, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

I also have the "Kill Bill" achievement, and no hat from that either. The survivors are missing dialogue in the sacrifice though, despite the sound files being there, so maybe it will come after they do the patch that fixes their update. Vercci 23:49, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Paintable

It's odd, really. The value is at "1" in items_game.txt, but there's no change in the paint preview. Overall, it looks average.

The item is not paintable. The material's .vmt does not contain the code required to make the item paintable. I had set the tags of this article to unpaintable because in its current state it is impossible to apply paint to it. This change was reverted in revision 11187 by RedError 404. Well, I think that the line "This is like TF2" in an obvious TF2 wiki would be funny and a reference about this game in another game would be better and fits greatly. Sr Domi 20:19, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

Trivia Addition

• Do you think we should add the fact this is given out alongside the frying pan? Or, in the article after 4pm tomorrow, we can say "...<It> was given out alongside the Frying Pan to commemorate L4D 2's mac update." My brother got the cap and frying pan, and he's owned L4D2 for a while. Seen here: [1] (He hasn't played yet to get them properly put into the backpack.) I haven't gotten mine yet, but I now have definite proof that they're going out to those who already own the game. I guess all we can do is wait until they process everyone...
