Player ambushes himself with his own pipe bombs.
Quake Team Fortress death message

The super Shotgun is a weapon in the classic Team Fortress games. it fires a somewhat tight spread of pellets.

Its useffulness depends on the game it is in; in Quake Team Fortress, it is only useful as a backup weapon because shotguns suffer from falloff damage. However, in Team Fortress Classic, they do not, which makes the Super Shotgun a very useful weapon. In fact, the TFC variant can be used as a primary weapon for certain classes.

Damage

In Quake Team Fortress, it has damage falloff, while in Team Fortress Classic, it doesn't.
