Canyon is a large four-point Payload map, of course, set in a large winding canyon. The objective is for the invading BLU Team to deliver the Payload from the newly constructed BLU base to the center of the enemy RED base, to disable the RED Team's large multi-stage rocket.

Locations
Checkpoint A (BLU Base & RED Outposts)
The Payload starts at Blue Base, which sits at the very edge of the Canyon on a clifftop. The Payload works its way downhill, winding through RED and BLU owned buildings to the first Point A, "The Payload Suppository." This area is harder to defend as RED, but with enough teamwork, BLU can be pinned down around a small choke point before the point. Capturing A will result in RED's spawn moving back to point B and BLU being able to spawn at Point A.
Checkpoint B (Tunnel & Bridge)
After going around Point A, the track makes its way through a small tunnel to the other side of the canyon where the majority of Red's Base lies. There are multiple pathways around and through the tunnel. When the Payload reaches the end of the tunnel, a door will open the track up to Point B, "The Loading Dock," which sits on an L-Shaped bridge over a large pit. The Payload will have a slightly longer distance to travel to get to Point B, with a few more choke points for RED to stop BLU's advance. Capturing Point B will result in RED's spawn moving back to the final Point D, and BLU being able to spawn at Point B.
Checkpoint C (Red Base & Platforms)
After moving down off the bridge into the interior of RED's base, the Payload winds its way to the third Point C, "The Platform Complex." There are a variety of side routes next to the main track area for BLU to sneak in, as Red will have many vantage points to defend from on and below platforms that extend across the center trackway. Capturing Point C will result in several doors opening, unlocking side routes to the final Point D, as well as BLU being able to spawn in a secret room on the side of RED Base just behind Point C.
Checkpoint D (Launch Site & Mission Control)
Point D, "Mission Control," is just around the corner from C, but is very defensible by RED, and BLU will have to attack from all sides in order to break through and successfully drop the Payload, blowing up the base and disabling the Rocket.
