Using screen to run servers
It is common practice to use screen to run servers in many distributions. Do you think a discussion of this would be appropriate here? Broseph 17:49, 2 January 2012 (PST)
- Yes I definitely think this is a good idea. It's very useful, especially since it allows you to close your connection with the server (the fact that you normally can't isn't even mentioned). --Scootz 20:57, 2 January 2012 (PST)
LSB bootup scripts
Since a lot of people use these scripts to restore the server workings at bootup, this seemed necessary.
