I had heard somewhere that this increases damage by 25% for all weapons, I know this probably isn't true, but if someone could confirm it or prove it wrong, that would be great. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by Richard (talk) • contribs) 19:57, 2 October 2010
- No. Myself and a clanmate tried this with Pyro's Shotgun, Fixed Weapon Spread at Point Blank. Shotgun with Fire Axe is 90 damage, Power Jack is 90 damage as well. It is indeed, just a myth. ;-) Also, remember to sign your talk page comments (with --~~~~, there is a button second from right above the editable bit to help) next time. ;-) --Leftism 13:08, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
This page states that the Pyro can be overhealed to 260 hp with the Powerjack. While this is possible (I believe) if a Medic has already overhealed the Pyro to at least 185 hp, a lone Pyro can only overheal himself to 250 hp using the Powerjack. Bugs section
"There is a bug that when an enemy is killed by suicide, enviromental hazards or afterburn, it will still trigger the 75 health boost." Is this confirmed as being a bug and not a feature? A death by flare hit with the powerjack on also triggers this, and it plays to the suit of the polycount pack, relying on fast switching for the health gain in most cases. --TMP 17:42, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
- The wording of the official description is rather vague in this regard. The official text is "+75 health restored on kill". I am of the opinion that this is a feature and not a bug. Play-testing as of today shows that, even though it is listed as removed under the undocumented January 7, 2011 Patch notes, the behavior still remains.Tachko 18:19, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
PowerJack changes
The Powerjack's health-on-kill got lowered to 25 from 75. I'm looking at the patch notes and I see nothing about it being changed. Can someone confirm this for me to make sure I'm not seeing things? Jesse (talk) 17:30, 2 July 2015 (PDT)
- I just tested this on tr_walkway, and it seems to be true. Weird. Edmond Dantès (talk) 18:05, 2 July 2015 (PDT)
