Thanks a lot for the useful links ! I got a question, for instance the Captain Space Mann got already a french traslation for its name "Captaine Space Mann" but it's mispelled, it should be "Capitaine" one "i" is missing. Where should I signal this? >_< Oh nevermind somebody did the same mistake i made with the dictionary I suppose.

Your recent translation

Hello, it's me.. again!

It's really great to see another active French translator! I've corrected one of your recent translation (see link) and compiled a list of things to remember when translating item pages, so that you do it better the next articles:

• There are a few things in the item infobox to be touched when translating an item:
  • The "used-by" parameter needs to be translated
  • The "item-kind" parameter must be translated with official string
• The quotation on most pages should also be translated. Furthermore, if the sound is not existing in French (you can check that by searching for it with a "_fr" suffix. For example if it's "Soldier_mvm_loot_godlike01.wav" you can search for "Soldier_mvm_loot_godlike01_fr.wav". In case it doesn't exist, add "|en-sound=yes" behind the quotation. So it finally looks like this: {{Quotation|'''Le Soldier'''|[...]|sound=Soldier_mvm_loot_godlike01.wav|en-sound=yes}}. If the French sound does exist, simply put the "_fr" suffix behind it.
• Item and style names also have official translations (I can understand that I annoy you with those "official translations"), I added them in the example correction.
• There are 3 templates that help you with official translations so that you don't need to look for them:
  • {{update link}} automatically links to the correct update page here and also displays the name. Usage: "[[Tough Break Update]]" becomes "{{update link|Tough Break Update}}". This produces on a French page: Mise à jour Tough Break.
  • {{item name}} automatically displays the ingame name of the item. Usage: "Caped Crusader" becomes "{{item name|Caped Crusader}}". This outputs on a French page: Le Croisé à cape on.
  • {{item link}} works same as above, but also adds a link to the page. Usage: "[[Caped Crusader]]" becomes "{{item link|Caped Crusader}}". This produces: Le Croisé à cape.
• Categories at the end need the "/fr" suffix. Quite simple, "[[Category:Items with styles]]" => "[[Category:Items with styles/fr]]"

I hope I didn't overwhelm you, just trying to improve your translations even more :)

Hi again, please remember to use the {{update link}} template Nikno already mentioned and check if you've localized all links (fixed here). Another thing I'd recommend you to do (so it's not mandatory, but I think it's nicer) is not always writing "The {{item name|Prehistoric Pullover}}...", just make the first sentence in the article that way. When you need to mention the item again, just say "This/The item...". It makes the article less repetitive and it's easier to write. Cheers! { TidB | t | c | wt } 05:54, 29 April 2016 (PDT)

Community Gorge strategy/fr

Oh well, another talk page entry? Nikno already fixed two mistakes, consisting of an untranslated link and the {{trans}} template that you need to put on pages that are in the process of being translated. Another thing I can't add is the displayed title of the page. For that, you need to use both the {{DISPLAYTITLE}} template and the name parameter in the map infobox. So just add those, plug the French translation of "Community Gorge strategy" in, and you're done; the title is displayed correctly! Sorry to jump in here, I've done what TidB meant here. That "name" parameter he mentioned is the title of the infobox (which should be the same as the displaytitle). Traductions automatiques

Bonjour ! Je voudrais savoir quand arrêtera-tu d'utiliser Google Traduction pour faire des traductions ?
Je vais appuyer mes propos avec [page] :

• Corrigé le tableau des scores causant un contretemps d'une framerate lors de son affichage.

Si tu me dis que cette traduction n'a pas été effectuée avec Google Traduction, ça sera la blague élue meilleure de l'année 2016. La page précédente était exactement pareille et j'ai corrigé le tir.

Hein? Je n'ai absolument jamais utilisé google traduction en revanche je me suis référé aux anciennes pages déjà traduites pour les mots clés, mais c'est tout =l

c'est bien moi qui l'ai traduite à la main. Preuve que google trad te sort ça wtf??

D'ailleurs si j'utilisais des logiciels tiers je prendrai pas des heures à traduire le guide stratégique comme celui de gorge que j'ai commencé là.

Non parce que des fausses accusations comme ça alors que j'ai passé un temps fou à aider le wiki français ces derniers jour ça me saoule là.

Google trad ça donne ça "Correction du tableau de bord faisant un attelage de taux de trame quand il a été basculée" ça n'a absolument rien à voir avec ce que j'ai écrit me semble-t-il. Que t'aimes pas ma trad ok corrige là c'est un site communutaire. Elle a le mérite d'exister mais de là à ce foutre de la gueule de personne qui utilise leur temps libre pour aider un wiki sans rien en retour c'est chaud.

J'étais venu pour aider mais là c'est mort demmerdez vous sérieux.

J'ai écris à la va vite. Je ne parlais pas forcément de Google Traduction mais d'un correcteur automatique.... Après, je parlais de la phrase en elle-même, tu trouves vraiment qu'elle a un sens ? Moi aussi, je suis sur le wiki pour traduire, moi aussi j'utilise mon temps libre donc bon Après, je m'excuse quand même car c'était un peu cru et je n'avais vu qu'après que tu étais nouveau. Mais cette phrase m'a vraiment mis sur les nerfs, après qu'allait penser les gens en voyant cette phrase ? Ils allaient penser que les français sur le wiki vont du mauvais travail et qu'ils sont toujours en retard, donc voilà pourquoi cette énervement... Désolé encore et je suis triste de te voir partir ;( Je te remercie malgré tout d'avoir traduit les pages des objets cosmétiques introduits dans la dernière mise à jour. Où il n'y a rien à dire, voilà, encore désolé de m'être énervé sur une simple phrase alors que tu as fais du bon travail sur les autres pages. Désolé encore ;(
