This cosmetic was apparently originally known as the "Falconer Punch" before it was incorporated into the game. This was almost certainly a reference to Captain Falcon's "falcon punch" move in ''Smash Bros''. I feel that both of these points deserve mention. The original name would fit nicely in the Steam Workshop thumbnail's description, but I think it'd be incomplete without mention of the reference, which would move it firmly into the realm of trivia. While there is precedent for such a trivia point (such as nearly every other referential cosmetic), I'm not sure if it merits a trivia section all on its own. :We decided that it would be better discard any kind of trivia regarding Workshop's original name and description because the maker of those items can put pretty much write anything, and these kinds of information isn't EXACTLY in TF2, so it's not really trivial, if the name was unchanged or if it was references in the item's description, then yes. First Person

Does this show up in first person view? If so I suppose we'll need a screenshot showing it? Redjarman (talk) 11:55, 12 July 2013 (PDT)

Odds are it doesn't. Similar to the Purity fist. Its just 3rd world model. not 1st person. Ashes (talk) 11:49, 13 July 2013 (PDT)

Description

Is it just me, or did Valve get lazy on the description of this and the Cobber Chameleon? They're basically the same, with a few minor differences.

Trivia for Original Name?

Should we add a trivia section to mention the cosmetic's original name and its reference? This cosmetic was apparently originally known as the "Falconer Punch" before it was incorporated into the game. This was almost certainly a reference to Captain Falcon's "falcon punch" move in Smash Bros. Kestrelguy (talk) 20:53, 11 January 2021 (UTC)

We decided that it would be better discard any kind of trivia regarding Workshop's original name and description because the maker of those items can put pretty much write anything, and these kinds of information isn't EXACTLY in TF2, so it's not really trivial, if the name was unchanged or if it was references in the item's description, then yes.
