In 1996, Robin worked with John Cook and Ian Caughley to work on [[Team Fortress]] as a mod for [[w:Quake (video game)|Quake]] and following the popularity of the mod, the trio were hired by [[Valve]] to work on [[Team Fortress Classic]] for their new [[w:GoldSrc| GoldSrc Engine]].
