I'm sorry about tending to split edits, but sometimes I just don't notice something still needing to be done until after I've clicked "save edit" or I think I just need to patch up one section and don't notice other sections needing touch-ups until later. Hello, Luigifan!
Welcome to the Team Fortress 2 Official Wiki!
Here are a few links to get you started:
- If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
- If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style guide.
- Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
- To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
- You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
- When posting on an article's Talk page you should add four tilde symbols or ~~~~ onto the end.
- This will add a signature and timestamp to your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
- Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
- When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
- You can use the button in the editing toolbar to quickly add a signature.
- If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for a staff member.
- If you have trouble with anything on the wiki or you're not sure about a specific topic, feel free to join the IRC.
- You can also customize your user page if you like.
- Additionally, if you would like to add any self-made content to the wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:Luigifan/ to the page title when you create the page.
Once again, welcome to the Team Fortress 2 Wiki!

About your edits
Remember to use 'Preview' button before Save page, it can be use to check about your edits and can fix before Save page. Hinaomi (talk) • (contributions) 16:02, 28 December 2012 (PST)
- Second warning, Please use 'Preview' button before Save page. Rikka Takanashi (talk) • (contributions) 15:36, 22 February 2014 (PST)
Please make use of the Show preview button. It gives you a preview of the edit you are making, allowing you to perfect your changes before you save the page. Darkid (Talk | Contribs) 17:37, 22 February 2014 (PST)
- If you want to edit the whole page, please use the "Edit" button on the top of the page instead of edit on each section. Rikka Takanashi (talk) • (contributions) 17:40, 22 February 2014 (PST)
- Heyo, I would kindly ask that you hit the edit button on the top right of the page rather than by section. You are filling up the recent change logs with your edits which is actually making it harder to find edits that may be either poor or don't fit guidelines. Thanks. Ashes (talk) 12:13, 23 February 2014 (PST)
- If you want to edit the whole page, please use the "Edit" button on the top of the page instead of edit on each section. Rikka Takanashi (talk) • (contributions) 17:40, 22 February 2014 (PST)
Show preview
Please make use of the Show preview button. It gives you a preview of the edit you are making, allowing you to perfect your changes before you save the page. You can edit the whole article by clicking the edit button at the top of the page, which is preferable to editing multiple sections consecutively. - Faghetti V.2 (talk) 16:47, 20 April 2018 (UTC)
- Luigifan: Your edits to 2018-04-25 edits of Community Scout strategy are precisely what Faghetti is warning you about. The problem they are talking about really isn't that you are not using preview so much as you are making many small edits to one article where one large edit will do. It is particularly tedious to review your Community Scout strategy edits.
- On the whole, your grammar corrections are generally correct, but I still review each of your link edits -- a couple of general errors appear in your "link-making": 1) going to the trouble of piping a page link, only to link to a redirect and 2) overlinking. I have fixed some of these, but fixing your links in your 2018-04-25 edits of Community Scout strategy is more than I want to take on. Please, review the extent of your overlinking and reduce the linking in Community Scout strategy.
- In general, there usually need to be only one link to any one article in a given page. Weapons generally only need to be linked once, unless a great amount of text lies between. In strategy pages it is generally unnecessary to link to a class page even once, much less many times. Certainly, it is rarely needed to link to the same page twice or more in the same paragraph or the same sentence:
When blasting an enemy into the air with a Stickybomb, try to make sure that they will either die from the resulting fall damage or fly into an environmental hazard such as a bottomless pit.
- Please see: w:Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Linking#Duplicate and repeat links

A warning about using the show preview function
Please make use of the Show Preview button. Click the Edit button at the top of a page and edit the entire page at once, instead of doing several smaller edits. You have been kindly asked to do this for multiple times now, from even as far back as 2014. Failure to do so may result in a temporary block from the Wiki. Thanks! Achievement grammar
Hi there,
Achievements don't need grammar checking, because they are copied from in-game. Please don't change them from the in-game version.
Also: do not edit individual pages (as pointed out by the giant "DO NOT EDIT THIS PAGE!" sign), they're automatically overwritten by a bot.

Oops?
Um, hey, can I please be unblocked? I'm earnestly trying to contribute here.
