We allow images to decorate your user page to be uploaded but they must follow these rules:

* All images for your user page must have the file name prefix User_ and your name in it (e.g. File:User_MyName_Cool_Avatar.jpg)

* You must also add the image to the User images category. This can be done by placing the text into the Summary box.

* Note this is only for images that you are using on your user page.

Images for your user page <font color="red"><u>must follow these guidelines</u></font> or they <font color="red"><u>will be deleted</u></font>.

Categorise and license all uploads

Image files must be placed in at least one category and they must have licensing information attached.

  • Category:Images contains every existing image category for use. If an appropriate category does not exist, create it!
  • After reading Team Fortress Wiki:Licensing images, if you still aren't sure what license applies to this image, select "I don't know what the license for this file is."

Images uploaded exclusively for user pages have special requirements

To keep track of images intended to be used solely on your user page, you should help out by:

  • Prefixing the destination filename with User_ and your Wiki username, followed by a meaningful suffix.
    • Example: User_Pilk_favouriteloadout.png
  • Adding the file to the User images category by entering in the upload summary.
