(Apparently the wet particles are misleading as they don't consistently show up. Explicit how it actually works (info from the game's code and testing).)

List of covered-associated weapons
Secondary Mad Milk Mutated Milk
  • Mad Milk is a thrown weapon. Covering foes with Mad Milk inflicts a debuff, allowing any teammate to heal by damaging an opponent under its effects.
  • The only ways to prematurely remove the effects of Mad Milk is by visiting a Resupply locker, by being submerged in water, or by being healed for an extended period of time.
  • Additionally, Mad Milk can be used to extinguish burning allies, including the user, and easily nullify a Spy's Cloak and disguise.

Secondary Gas Passer
  • Gas Passer is a thrown weapon. Covering foes with Gas Passer inflicts a debuff, allowing any teammate to light any opponents under its effects on fire with damage.
  • The only ways to prematurely remove the effects of Gas Passer is by visiting a Resupply locker, by being submerged in water, or by being healed for an extended period of time.
  • Unlike the other soaked effects, the enemies soaked with the Gas Passer are not considered wet by the Neon Annihilator.

Melee Neon Annihilator
  • The Neon Annihilator deals guaranteed critical hits on wet targets, including those covered in Jarate, Mad Milk, swimming, or simply standing in water of any depth.
  • It is primarily an effective method for dealing with enemies in water, though players are also considered wet for five seconds after leaving a water source. Do note that the water particles do not accurately represent if the player is actually wet or not (they don't always last five seconds and only appear when the player submerged their head/eyes).

Primary Sydney Sleeper
  • If a Sniper is zoomed in, the shot will apply a Jarate effect onto an enemy target, scaled up from 2 to 5 seconds depending on the charge.
  • The Jarate effect can extinguish allies in the same fashion that the Jarate can.

Secondary Jarate Self-Aware Beauty Mark
  • Jarate is a thrown weapon. It inflicts a temporary debuff upon its victims, causing all soaked enemies to take Mini-crit damage for 10 seconds.
  • The only ways to prematurely remove the effects of Jarate is by visiting a Resupply locker, by being submerged in water, or by being healed for an extended period of time.
  • Jarate also can be used to extinguish burning allies and nullify a Spy's Cloak and disguise.
