Bird-Man of Aberdeenはコミュニティ製のデモマン用その他装飾品アイテムです。これは大きな緑と黄色の色合いの毛をもつコンゴウインコで、デモマンの左肩にとまっており、デモマンの動きに合わせて動きます。
Bird-Man of Aberdeenには３つの異なるスタイルがあります。"Distinguished"スタイルは体毛が白くなり、まるでオウムのようになります。"Imbued"スタイルは腹の部分の毛をくすんだ緑色にします。ペイントした際は、"Distinguished"スタイルは尾羽と冠羽を除いて、全身その色に染まります（なお白っぽさは残るため薄い色着きになる）。"Imbued"スタイルは腹の部分だけその他の部位よりくすんだ色合いに染まります。
このアイテムを装備したプレイヤー単独で他のプレイヤーをキルすると、パイロランド内にいる全プレイヤーに対してこのアイテム名がキルログにキルアシストプレイヤーとして表示されます。名前を変えていた場合はその名前で表示されます。
Bird-Man of AberdeenはSteamワークショップに"Some spare eyes"という名前で投稿されました。
このアイテムはStrangifierを使うことでアイテムクオリティをストレンジに変更できます。

バグ
- このアイテムのレベルを表示するための必要物が消失してしまっているため、ゲーム内およびバックパック内において、このアイテムのアイテムレベルは表示されません。
- また、アイテムレベルがSteam Web APIでまだトランスミット中のため、多くの外部バックパックビュアーではまだレベルを表示しており、名前と共にアイテムレベルとTF_Wearable_Animalのアイテムタイプのラベルも表示します。
トリビア
- このアイテムの名前の元ネタはロバート・フランクリン・ストラウドという、アルカトラズ刑務所で服役中に独学で鳥類学を学び、国際的権威となった人物です。
- また、Aberdeen（アバディーン）とは（デモマンの故郷でもある）スコットランド北東部の都市です。
