  • When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
  • You can use the button in the editing toolbar to quickly add a signature.
• If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for a staff member.
• If you have trouble with anything on the wiki or you're not sure about a specific topic, feel free to join the IRC.
• You can also customize your user page if you like.
  • When uploading images for use on your user page, please add the prefix User Cheezcracker to the file's name.

Show preview

Please make use of the Show preview button. It gives you a preview of the edit you are making, allowing you to perfect your changes before you save the page. You can edit the whole article by clicking the edit button at the top of the page, which is preferable to editing multiple sections consecutively.

Categories and licenses

Hi there,

When uploading files, please remember to add the appropriate licenses and categories. If you struggle with adding either of these, try looking for similar files and see what they have added.

Bug images

Hi there,

It's preferred if images for bugs and glitches are put on an external image hosting website, such as imgur, and putting it in the edit summary. Images/videos are only used for verification and will be deleted afterwards. However, please also be careful that the screenshots don't contain anything harmful, such as the Zombie Scout floating bug. This image had a Telegram link spammed in the chat, likely by bots.

Discord as an image hosting site

Hi there,

Please do not use Discord as a way to provide images, as the images will soon not be viewable after more than a day, use another image host instead. Please also note that we can only document what is shown on the image, videos are most often required for these kinds of bugs (uploaded to YouTube or another video hosting site). The edit summary also cut off the links to the Discord image, so I had to remove the second bug submitted.

Note that this also goes for videos. They will be automatically downloaded and are not safe, any future bugs that use Discord as an image/video host for the proof may not be accepted.

Operation Firmware Frenzy image

Hi there,

Please remember to archive these images too on archive.org, I've done that for you now. Please also remember to include more than just the creator saying "this is true" (such as the actual question being asked), as this image isn't really that great for confirmation.
