Not necessarily a split, but rather an additional category for non-Valve concept art (e.g. Workshop or Polycount art), it would be something like :Category:Community concept art which would have this category as a category as well so it does show up here. I think the distinction between Valve and community concept art is important because nowadays, the concept art from the community is very often just a simple drawing of the cosmetic. While Valve's concept art usually contains different concepts that were proposed (such as different weapon designs).
| s | GrampaSwood (talk) (contribs) 23:10, 26 December 2023 (UTC) | Not necessarily a split, but rather an additional category for non-Valve concept art (e.g. Workshop or Polycount art), it would be something like :Category:Community concept art which would have this category as a category as well so it does show up here. Split
Not necessarily a split, but rather an additional category for non-Valve concept art (e.g. Workshop or Polycount art), it would be something like Category:Community concept art which would have this category as a category as well so it does show up here. I think the distinction between Valve and community concept art is important because nowadays, the concept art from the community is very often just a simple drawing of the cosmetic. While Valve's concept art usually contains different concepts that were proposed (such as different weapon designs).

- No. I understand the distinction you're making, but it seems unnecessary as both of these are forms of concept art. I also see the point of splitting them just for the sake of "Valve made this? Epic!!" and "Community stuff? Ew...", but I fail to see how it would improve this category.
- If there's a need for reworking this category, my suggestion would be to categorize them by type ("weapon concept art", "cosmetic concept art" etc.) and by artist (following the NPP policy). — Tark 00:21, 27 December 2023 (UTC)
