Waterfront is a custom Mann vs. Machine map. It placed as a finalist in the Mappers vs Machines Contest.

Waterfront was one of the maps players had to complete on Potato's MVM Server as a part of Operation Titanium Tank, a community-made tour which rewarded players with the Titanium Tank Participant Medal 2017 upon completion.

Waterfront was also one of the maps in the Operation Canteen Crasher and Operation Memes vs Machines, both also community-made custom MvM tours on Potato's MvM Server.

The mission that was chosen to be paired with Waterfront for Operation Titanium Tank was "Watershed Waylay" by Swordstone.

In Operation Canteen Crasher, it was featured with the missions Short Circuit by HeRp-A-dErP-a-NErp.eXe and Whirly Wallop by Hell-met.

In Operation Memes vs Machines, the missions in the tour was Bison Barrage by theAgamer11 and Dihydrogen Monoxide by Tindall Berry.

Trivia

  • There is an easter egg in the form of a hidden room (outside map boundaries), accessible only by means of an Engineer teleporter placed inside a vent. When placed, the teleporter leads to a featureless black void, aside from a pink symbol (the map author's signature) attached to the far-side wall. There is a constant 'howling' sound effect that loops while the player is in the room, accompanied with a rapid health drain and bleed particles.
