The Kapitan's Kaftan is a community-created cosmetic item for the Heavy. It replaces his default shirt with a long-sleeved one, his vest with a black robe with his class emblem on the upper arms and golden trimmings with a zigzag pattern, and his ammo belt with a team-colored cloth with golden trimmings. It also gives him a team-colored cloth with golden trimmings wrapped around his waist.
The Kapitan's Kaftan was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

Due to how the textures are set up, painting the Kapitan's Kaftan with single color Paint Cans results in different colorization on the paint regions between teams.

Notes
- Using the Team Spirit paint on this item provides absolutely no visual difference in-game on the BLU team. This happens because the exact same color values are used for both the paint and the default "unpainted" color for the BLU team.
Trivia
- A kaftan is an antiquated tight-sleeved robe originating from Mesopotamia. It was worn in the Middle East and Russia as a symbol of social status or piety.
