The Hard Counter is a community-created cosmetic item for the Heavy. It is a team-colored umbrella hat, with brown ribs and the Heavy's class icon printed on it.

Due to how the textures are set up, painting the Hard Counter with single color Paint Cans results in different colorization on the paint regions between teams.

- Paint affects the Hard Counter's color more, colors are less washed out.

Bugs
- While the texture and backpack icon show two very different shades of red and blue, the colors in-game are barely noticeably different.
