The Super Nailgun is a weapon for the Medic. It is an automatic weapon that fires powerful nails at a moderate firing rate.

Compared to the regular nailgun, the Super Nailgun deals slightly more damage per nail, and consumes twice as many nails per shot (this amount varies depending on the game; the Team Fortress variant consumes 4 nails per shot, while the Team Fortress Classic variant consumes two). Despite the additional damage, however, it should generally not be used to kill except as a weapon of last resort.

Because it has a constant stream of damage, it is an ideal anti-Sentry Gun weapon.
