− | While I was rummaging through the weapon files, when I looked at the Medigun file, it says that it deals 24 damage. But as you know already, it only HEALS. Should this be mentioned in the Trivia? AbeX300 18:26, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

− | : There's a lot of random, un-noteworthy outdated/unused/development stuff in the weapon files. I wouldn't add it. -- Nineaxis mod 18:30, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

− | ::From 10 to 15 seconds, this rate increases linearly from 24 up to a maximum of 72 health per second. Maybe you read it wrong? --Picard de 18:35, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
| |
− | ::: @Nineaxis If that's the case, why is there a mention on Jarate about it's 5-Damage? @Picard I suppose. I'll check it out by changing the "damage". AbeX300 18:38, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

− | :::: Alright, I tested out on changing the damage. Apparently, it is the heal rate. Thanks Picard for telling me. AbeX300 18:42, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

| + | Am I blind, or does this page not mention the über penalty when starting to heal another teammate? I've read online that either it doubles the drain rate, or removes a certain amount of charge from you, but I feel like I'm going insane since the Wiki doesn't list this. Am I just blind or does the article not say that? If it doesn't.. it should be added, right? (if it does say that, please point it out for me, and i apologize) |

− |

− | Medigun vs Medi Gun | + | edit a few minutes later, it does say that on the ÜberCharge page. should it be added here too, as it's kinda important info. |

− | This one is probably more controversial than other move requests. In-game, in the backpack/inventory this weapon is referred to as the Medi Gun. However in the tips section it is referred to as a "medigun". This is an example of Valve being rather inconsistent. Should this page be moved to Medi Gun?

− | :Oppose: Like flamethrower, even though this is how it's written in the loadout menu, "medigun" is used almost exclusively everywhere else. Dragonsbrethren 20:44, 10 September 2010 (UTC)

− | :Oppose: It's a medigun. It's a portmanteau of medic and gun. It no longer is a portmanteau when you have it as Medi Gun. Plus it looks odd. Here's another thought, what would gamers wanting to know more about the gun search for in Google? They'll search it like it appears in game, so to help SEO (and accessibility) ratings, just set it as Medigun.
