[grunts] Who drank all my rum?
Davy Jones to the Demoman

The Scottish Handshake is a community-created melee weapon for the Demoman. It is a dark brown glass rum bottle, made by the Demoman's DeGroot family ancestors in 1680.

This weapon functions identically to the Bottle.

While the weapon works similarly to most of the other melee weapons, if a Critical hit is achieved when striking a surface or player, the Scottish Handshake's lower half shatters and remains so until the player is killed (it does not mend upon touching a Resupply locker). Like the Bottle's same effect, this is purely cosmetic; the broken Scottish Handshake has the same range and deals no more or less damage than it did prior to being broken.

The Scottish Handshake was later contributed to the Steam Workshop, at Valve's request.

The backpack icon was contributed by smash.mn .
