— The Engineer on thrilling robotic prostheses
|
” |
Upon taunting with the Gunslinger equipped, the Engineer pulls a rip-cord from his mechanical prosthetic, revving the hand of his Gunslinger up to vicious speeds, after which he thrusts it forward, shredding any enemy player slow, unaware, or simply unfortunate enough to be within reach.
The taunt inflicts several 1-damage hits and stuns the victim during the initial contact with the hand. Upon the Engineer withdrawing his hand near the end of the taunt, a final blow of over 450 damage will be inflicted, instantly killing any class that was not invulnerable at the time.
This taunt can be aimed manually depending on the direction the player was aiming at the start. This can allow players directly above or below the Engineer to be killed by the taunt if they were aimed at previously.
As with all kill taunts, this taunt can be used to kill enemy players during humiliation and stalemates.

Trivia
- If an enemy is killed by the hand's spinning they will turn into a ragdoll, but if they are killed by the removal of the hand, they will gib.
