The Walkabout is a scrapped unlockable primary weapon for the Sniper.
The Walkabout would have allowed the Sniper to walk at normal speed while scoped, at the cost of reduced damage dealt and no headshotting or charging. It was replaced by the Huntsman because the development team thought it made the Sniper function too similarly to players wielding sniper rifles in the Template:W series of games.

Trivia
- The name of the weapon is derived from a rite of passage, of the same name, in aboriginal culture.
- The "no-headshot" attribute was later recycled for the Sydney Sleeper.
- The Walkabout appears in the fan-made mod Advanced Weaponiser.
- The general attributes for the Walkabout have a striking resemblance to the Sniper's counterpart from Gang Garrison 2 at the time of the Walkabout's conception. Neither could headshot, there was no charge mechanic, and there was no movement penalty when scoped. However, this was only a coincidence according to Robin Walker.[1]
