There are several unused Alternate Kill Icons that can be found in the Team Fortress 2 files, some of these icons are included for custom use by the community where as others appear to have been replaced. The known Alternate Kill Icons are listed below.

Name	Icon	Potential Use
Ambassador Headshot		An unused Headshot icon for the Spy's Ambassador. It is similar in appearance to the current Kill Icon and was most likely replaced by the current icon shortly before the release of the Sniper Vs. Spy Update.
Level 1 Sentry		This unused Level 1 Sentry icon has no clear use. It appears similar to the standard Level 1 Sentry kill icon with one clear difference: the Sentry appears to have some kind of laser attached to the top.
Environmental Death: Fire		This kill icon was introduced into the Team Fortress 2 files for custom use by community developers. It appears as a standard Team Fortress 2 style skull and crossbones surrounded by flames. Its use is for environmental fire kills, such as Lava or intense heat, in custom maps.
Environmental Death:Explosion		This kill icon was introduced into the Team Fortress 2 files for custom use by community developers. It appears as a standard Team Fortress 2 style explosion.
