Brass Beast?
This page states it CAN be used, but I'm pretty sure it CAN'T. Any confirmations on this? Benvil 13:58, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
Community Medieval Mode strategy
Since medieval mode changes the balances of class completely, it should either have its own strategy page, or have a medieval section in each of the class' strategy page. I recommend a separate page for medieval due to each class have 2 strategy page (community and class match-up), makign it tedious to modify. Jestersage 18:49, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- Agree. -Object404 19:49, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- Agree. This page is going to be a mess if community "strategy" is added. It should be its own page as this article should only contain basic information on the mode itself. - Vlad The Impaler 00:57, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

Created Page
Somebody get the ball rolling and actually add stuff of substance, I don't know how this stuff works. Bonzi77 03:02, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
Special Stuff
- Certain weapons cannot be used
- Capping doesn't add more time
- When a player is killed, a health kit is dropped rather a weapon. Since metal can't really be used
- Map specific? - Bag pipes play on certain events IE win/lose or main gate open
Most recent update -= M-NINJA =- 03:07, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- Chat is changed to sound medeval.

For all classes except sniper and medic, melee only. Sniper may use huntsman and medic may use the crossbow. Demoman can use the charge targe.
-benjaminbigelow
- Well no. Scout can use mad milk and bonks. the soldier can use either banner, and the spy has the desguise kit. -= M-NINJA =- 03:39, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
Capitalization of the "M" in "Mode"?
Shouldn't this page be at Medieval mode, with a lowercase "M" in "Mode"? There's "Birthday mode" and "Training mode", for example. I had moved it there yesterday, but it was reverted back. --Pseudo 20:08, 18 December 2010 (UTC)
- My bad, I'll revert. Shock394 17:38, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
Bugs in medieval mode
On some servers (I have confirmed it is only on some servers), a spy on the BLU team is able to disguise with the disguise kit even when "Your Eternal Reward" is equipped. It does not work for RED team, and the user will still disguise on a successful backstab, as well as being able to disguise before stabbing anyone. Correct me if it is a console command or a config setting. Quantumkayos 19:16, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
No Medic Uber
- Because the medic can't use his medigun, he can't use an Ubercharge. For that reason, isn't it kind of pointless to mention that the Ubersaw cant build uber? --Stevoisiak 19:57, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
RJackson's web chat parser
Should this get a mention at all on the page? It seems sort of relevant, but I'm unsure about it.
Razorback vs Danger Shield
One thing that isn't mentioned is that a fully-charged Huntsman arrow should bring a Razorback Sniper to very low HP (or possibly kill him at closer ranges) and the afterburn should kill him in moments, so the Danger Shield can be used even for the Snipers that "focus on using the Huntsman" for more HP to give you more time to run for a health pack/Medic/cabinet.
Another thing is that in RED, if you don't jump down, you don't need to worry about Spies until the gate opens, so you should have the Danger Shield in that time. Tiomasta 02:22, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
Parser Rules
So, discussion on how to format the parser, e.g. alphabetical. I had put in a table before, but it got removed. So what should we put the parser replacements and appendings as? Also, @ Strange Quirk, when Medieval mode is on, then the server owner/administrator can set tf_medieval_autorp to 0 to turn off the chat parser. Tested. -FlaminSarge 18:28, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
Jarate
They should allow Jarate. They have allowed the Mad Milk, which functions the same as Jarate. It would be better if they allowed it. Jarate could also help you and your teammates from the burning arrows. Mardamien24 10:43, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
- Steam Forums are over here. -- Mechlord 10:47, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
thanks for reminding me Mardamien24 04:08, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
Do you think it's worth noting in the main article anyway? Guybrush20X6 08:44, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
- Not really, the Jarate page shows whether it can be used in Medieval mode in the infobox. GeminiViRiS Talk Contribs 08:46, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
Bug
"Item set effects are still applied even if the set contains disallowed weapons." Shouldn't that be mentioned as a bug? -Because even on a normal server WITH a whitelist against the set-items you also get the bonus effects, of the set. So it's not intended and shouldn't be a gameplay mechanic. So it would be under a bug section better, correct? NoWhereMan(DSvY) "Ich machen liebe Lannnnng" 04:44, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

Force the parser?
Is it possible to force the parser on a server without having the midevil mode enabled. Chat parser but no weapon restrictions? Tryer 21:07, 23 February 2011 (UTC)
