Grordbort's Crash is a comic by Valve released on July 20, 2011 with the announcement of Dr. Grordbort's Victory Pack. Grordbort's crash centers around the Soldier chatting with his wooden war veterans, when a strange object falls out of the sky, and the Soldier takes it upon himself to investigate.

Synopsis
The comic begins with the Soldier reminiscing about some war stories with his "friends", who turn out to be cut-out soldiers made of wood. The Soldier's story is interrupted when a strange object falls out of the sky. The Soldier takes it upon himself to throw himself onto the rocket to save his squad, only to find out, that the rocket is full of guns. Armed with this new information, the Soldier exclaims he is off to join the "Space Marines".

- The Soldier confuses the names of his comrades many times throughout the comic; for example, he refers to Salty Pete as 'Salsa Pete' and Pepper Pot Pete as 'Peter Pepper-Pants'.
