Painted images
Hey there. Your painted items are good. They don't have any anti-aliasing though, something that is a requirement. If you follow the tutorial here: Template:Painted variants/Tutorial you can see how to get anti-aliasing in HLMV. -- Pilk (talk) 09:38, 11 December 2010 (UTC)
- Anti-aliased all of them and put the revised images up. Thanks for letting me know. Could've sworn Model Viewer was set to anti-alias... RagnarHomsar 10:03, 11 December 2010 (UTC)
Official Item Images
Hey there!
I'm new to the Wiki and was just wondering, where do you find the official item pictures? (The ones with the random class posing with the item) Shawnchi 18:25, 23 August 2011 (PDT)
- I take the images by loading the class model and then loading the hat via "Load Weapon" (bizarre I know) in the Source SDK Model Viewer. Also, don't forget to sign your talk pages with four tildes (~). RagnarHomsar 18:25, 23 August 2011 (PDT)
- Ah, I see. Then how do you get the Backpack icons?
Shawnchi 18:26, 23 August 2011 (PDT)
- Extract them from the GCF using GCFScape from "team fortress 2 materials.gcf" and materials/backpack. They sometimes have random names, though. RagnarHomsar 18:28, 23 August 2011 (PDT)
