Contents
Past teams (A bit of history)
Official Team Fortress Wiki Highlander Team (OTFWH)
OTFWH was the first competitive team to represent the Wiki, and did so in the ETF2L Highlander Community Challenge. The team comprised of international players of whom were regular Wiki contributors; for many of the team's players, this was their first venture into Competitive Team Fortress 2. Within the group stage of the league the team took second-place of group 233, losing in the group playoffs to Chocolate Hammer Green; and got knocked out during Round 2 of the cup stage. The team had since disbanded.
UGC Highlander (Winter 2010)
Following getting knocked out of the ETF2L Highlander Community Challenge, the original Highlander team disbanded and begun forming new teams for the upcoming UGC Highlander Winter 2011 tournament - there was sufficient interest and a US team and EU team entered into this tournament. The teams have since disbanded.
Team Fortress Wiki (US)
idk, I lead the EU team.
Team Fortress Wiki (EU)
The EU team for the UGC Highlander tournament would rather not be talked about (heh heh). The EU team had only won 1 match out of 2 played in the Pre-season, and lost every single match up to Week 12 of the Season; the decision was made to drop out of the tournament by week 12 after facing numerous scheduling problems within the team - on numerous occasions the team couldn't get enough players available for matches.
Current teams
Sparklebros (6v6)
The Sparklebros team was formed following a few Wiki contributor's experience and enjoyment from being taught and playing 6v6 mixes with the IDK/NE Newbie Mix Steam group. The team is currently signed up for the upcoming ETF2L Season 10 6v6 tournament. This team is the Wiki's first venture into competitive 6v6, as well as the first 6v6 venture for the team's players.
