GFCScape is an application that can open .gfc files, usually located in "C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps" which contain the main resources for the Source engine and Source games, like sound (eg voice clips), textures, and models. This application allows users to open almost all files in the .cfg files using other programs, such as the computer's OS's media player (for sound) or VTFEdit, another application used for the viewing and editing of visual images in the .vtf (Valve Texture File) format.
