Hello, NintendoDrilly!
Welcome to the Team Fortress 2 Official Wiki!
Here are a few links to get you started:
- If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
- If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style guide.
- Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
- To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
- You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
- When posting on an article's Talk page you should add four tilde symbols or ~~~~ onto the end.
- This will add a signature and timestamp to your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
- Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
- When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
- You can use the button in the editing toolbar to quickly add a signature.
- If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for a staff member.
- If you have trouble with anything on the wiki or you're not sure about a specific topic, feel free to join the IRC.
- You can also customize your user page if you like.
- When uploading images for use on your user page, please add the prefix User Doomageguy to the file's name.
- Additionally, if you would like to add any self-made content to the wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:Doomageguy/ to the page title when you create the page.
Once again, welcome to the Team Fortress 2 Wiki!

Your Edits
I know you don't mean to sound mean, and I saw you even stated that but, you might want to read over your edits or at least calm down a bit before posting on a talk page. Your comments "that is, if you knew how to, for Christ's sake" and "Frankly, it's pretty obvious that you just can't work out the math right." on Kered's talk page can tend to be taken as mildly offensive, even if you didn't mean it. ClockworkSpirit2343 20:31, 9 August 2014 (PST)
- I'm going to have to bring up again, the tone of your edits is quite harsh on Kered's talk page. Additionally, it doesn't look like you're using show preview, which is causing multiple edits that could easily be condensed into a single edit with show preview. --Omolong (talk) 15:30, 15 August 2014 (PDT)
Editwars & Attitude
When your edits get undone repeatedly by different users it might be a sign that the quality of your edit is not high enough. Even if you think your information should be added, do not start edit wars and re-add it every time it gets undone. Instead, go to the talk page of the editor who undid your edit or the talk page of the itempage and state why you think this information should be added (and add sources/proofs if you want) so others have a chance to justify why they undo it.
Also, I must ask you to stop insulting other editors of the wiki when they disagree with you, I will not tolerate such behaviour. SackZement <Talk> 15:37, 15 August 2014 (PDT)
- Last warning, do not insult others who disagree with you, regardless of whether your edits are right or wrong. SackZement <Talk> 10:31, 17 August 2014 (PDT)
Sentry Gun/Buildings bug
Heyo, I've undone your edit regarding the "destruction" of buildings within a spawn or resupply cabinet. It is most likely intentional to combat the various sentry exploits that have happened in the past. This is valve's way of dealing with it so it doesn't happen again. Ashes (talk) 22:15, 19 August 2014 (PDT)
- I'll have you know that the destruction once moved to spawn only happens with Sentry Guns. It does not happen with Teleporters nor Dispensers, so it's only possible that this is some bug that the developers forgot all about. Also, I don't see what exploits can happen when you haul a Turret into spawn. - NintendoDrilly (talk) 22:18, 19 August 2014 (PDT)
- If you have looked into past exploits regarding the sentry gun it is clear what can happen. (I've done it before). Also, Teleporters and dispensers are not lethal. Exploiting them would be pointless as the player base who finds exploits merely want to gain an advantage, hence sentry gun exploits. Also please keep discussions on one page. Ashes (talk) 22:21, 19 August 2014 (PDT)
- Well, I know. SackZement told me that I shouldn't go spreading discussions from place to place (or page to page). Also, simply hiding your Sentries is considered taking use of an advantage more than with the other two buildings? The priority between them seems no different at all, if you ask me. - NintendoDrilly (talk) 22:24, 19 August 2014 (PDT)
- Wouldn't exploit mean some method used to take advantage of something? - NintendoDrilly (talk) 22:26, 19 August 2014 (PDT)
- Yes and if you have seen past exploits, these "sentry gun" exploits involved having multiple versions of thing. IE- 16 level 3 sentries. Or a Mini Sentry that functions as a level 3 sentry. These are all methods that give you and your team an advantage. And these exploits involved the use of the spawn and console commands. That is what I am getting at. Pages for abbreviations
Please do not create disambiguation pages consisting only of abbreviations. This Wiki is not a Rolodex, and such pages are unnecessary. -- LordKelvin 13:55, 27 August 2014 (PDT)
