Airblast self-damage bug
According to the "Bugs" section (and I quote), "Reflected grenades, Sentry Gun rockets, and Detonator flares all incorrectly inflict 85-170 self-damage (45-90 self-damage if reflected with the Dragon's Fury).". Silly question, but considering this has been the case for years, how do you know it really is a bug? Likio (talk) 00:36, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
- In general, reflected projectiles (and projectiles in general) do less damage to yourself than to other players. This is why a crit rocket jump doesn't instantly kill you, for example. Some bugs simply exist for years and aren't fixed. There is no true way of knowing if these are bugs without directly looking at the code, but they go against the expected behaviour of projectile self-damage.
