:Uh, what? It's at most a single line under each weapon description. Four unlockable weapons, 4-8 lines of text? That's a hell of a lot less than half. --LordKelvin 21:40, 13 December 2010 (UTC) | :Uh, what? It's at most a single line under each weapon description. + | On this recent edit, I think too much good information was removed. For example, it removed communication tips, advanced options, team-based play, overhealing technical details, the fact the "Megaheal" doesn't self-heal without a patient, Double Medic/Chain Uber Strategy (tried and true personally), and the class combat strategies, in addition to much more. This page now more resembles Basic Medic Strategy, and is tiny in comparison to other community strategy pages. I know much redundancy was removed, but that resulted in some tips being compressed into other tips, so that tidbit of information doesn't get across as easily. —<small>Rocket Ship BBQ talk • contribs</small> 17:50, 19 October 2011 (PDT) | ||

Mic use encouraged
Added a short note about using a mic to help with better communication. Very important! You just cannot be as effective a medic without one. I was not so adamant in the text! Cranberry Jerk 23:39, 22 June 2012 (PDT)
No mention of the battle medic?
I think we should at least have a section on battle medics, as it is a play style that is used by many players. Not having a section on it is kind of turning a blind eye to a common occurrence, so i think it should be mentioned, possibly in the advanced strategies section. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nk 170 (talk) • (contribs) 2010-11-13T10:18:05
- I added a section on battle medics. It's far from complete, so it needs a little work. --Flying Pyro 20:08, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
Map-specific ubercharge strategy
I think it's a good idea in concept, but the way it's turned out, it just looks like a list of chokepoints and defensible locations for only two maps -- Dustbowl and Gravel Pit. I'd suggest scrapping the section altogether; it's much more efficient to just look up a map and read up on the chokepoints. --Szthesquid 19:05, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
Complete Revision
I am currently in the process of going through this entire article and cleaning it up (trimming it down, removing redundancies, making it entirely third person, making it easier to understand, etc). So far I've done the whole top section; if you see any errors there feel free to correct them. Wish me luck! Natemckn 21:48, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
- I just did a general overhaul of the entire page. I was thinking of adding a Medic buddy section here, but there's already a Medic buddy page so I just left a link in the Combat Strategies section. --LordKelvin 17:15, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
Here's a thought.
Maybe you don't need to re-explain the specs of every weapon on these community pages, over and over. I could seriously reduce the size of these things by half.--Archdeco 20:00, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
- Uh, what? It's at most a single line under each weapon description. Four unlockable weapons, 4-8 lines of text? That's a hell of a lot less than half. --LordKelvin 21:40, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
Recent Major Edit
On this recent edit, I think too much good information was removed. —Rocket Ship BBQ talk • contribs 17:50, 19 October 2011 (PDT)
Combat strategy, bullet 4
That last part about deploying Ubercharges is often untrue.
You can Uber more than one player at once. Anyar (talk) 16:09, 13 February 2017 (PST)
Crit Healing
Okay, so I noticed in this that mentioned Crit Healing, what even made that a function for the Medic, and is it even in the game?

Page Error
Under Weapon combinations, one of the loadouts that has the Overdose is listed as the Crusader's Crossbow. Just pointing that out since no one has fixed it yet. Leisure (talk) 14:43, 22 March 2024 (UTC)
