As far as I know, only the main model itself (class textures) are affected by texture quality, and not the "Weapons" you attach on HLMV, so that's why it's not needed to re-do them. Jumping the Gun
While it is exciting and exhilarating to be the first to know about updates, I would recommend not putting false information on the wiki until you can confirm first hand in game or through the Half Life Model Viewer that items are paintable, tradable, giftable, etc. This would pertain to your preemptive edit on the Stockbroker's Scarf concerning paintability. Thanks! — ventus|talk 03:41, 14 December 2010 (UTC)

Dear Ceiling Man,

Hi. Thanks for coming back to the Wiki and contributing on the images. I just wanted to let you know that the textures on your images aren't high quality. dxsupport.cfg is reset upon verying the files on Steam. You can try a pre-configured dxsupport.cfg here, but make sure to backup yours first. It is not needed to re-do your images in higher quality, it's not much of a big deal, I'm just telling you this for future pictures. - ▪ - 19:28, 25 June 2021 (UTC)
