I've always wanted to contribute to the TF2 community. Everyday anyone plays, they undoubtedly experience community created maps, weapons, and concepts. However, I lack much of the resources (and probably experience) to pull together anything as elaborate as a weapon or a detailed map.

Then, without a thought to the community, and lured in with the promise of a Wiki Cap, I stumbled upon this location. A shiny new hat was all I was thinking of. But, as time passed, I realized how many other people were of like mind, and how hard it was to actually contribute worthwhile and useful information.

So, I came realize that people value this wiki as a source of reliable information, be they they an intermediate player looking up a recipe, a newbie learning the ins and outs of each class, or a veteran researching the changes in the latest update. I really don't care about the hat anymore, it's nice and all and I still wouldn't mind getting it, but I know now this is how I can contribute to the community in a way like those who have the skills to craft unique weapons.

TF2 still has a big future, and I intend to contribute all the way
