I have only found secondhand references to a supposed "official Valve statement" that dismisses the Medic having any kind of Nazi past.  I did track it down to here [http://www.tf2chan.net/dis/res/10989.html] that cites "fans that toured Valve" (which is perhaps a joke itself) but the link is dead.  I've seen zero official comments anywhere else and most forum posts are just perpetuating it without a source.  Can these references be removed entirely?  It's only speculation at this point and seems like something that lacks value in being repeated.  [[User:Malthenius|Malthenius]] 01:45, 01 December 2010 (UTC)

Today's (Nov. 19 2010) update stated that; Added the original Ubersaw taunt to the Vita-Saw. Has anybody tried this out yet?

Hello. I think it would be beneficial to add the default (baseline) rate for how long ubercharge takes to build, and additionally add the amount of time it takes to build charge on other mediguns. I would do this myself but I do not have permissions. Thank you.

:It's the same taunt as the Bonesaw, not the Übersaw. Both are the "world's smallest violin" animations, but the Vita-Saw's violin sound is different in pitch and tone than the Bonesaw one. [[User:Malthenius|Malthenius]] 23:01, 30 November 2010 (UTC)

:::I'm a little late to the party here but what they meant was the Übersaw's original taunt was the same as the bonesaw but with the deeper (if I remember right Viola) sounds. Before, it was assumed his name is Ludwig Humboldt, given that Ludwig is not a last name and the Humboldt's Pharmacy sign in Rottenburg mentions baboon heart transplants, which Medic was chased out of his hometown for performing. I had an edit under trivia that described that the Medic was the only healthy class. Admittedly, it wasn't perfect, but instead of being edited or revised, it was flat-out deleted. Uber Charge Build Rates

Hello. I think it would be beneficial to add the default (baseline) rate for how long ubercharge takes to build, and additionally add the amount of time it takes to build charge on other mediguns. Real Name

The e-mail is from Jay Pinkerton, one of the two main writers for TF2. Ludwig is actually a surname, but the Ludwig Humboldt sign is a community theory whereas this is an official e-mail from Valve which looks entirely legit.
