Misprint
As a crafting ingredient is to create a hat and not to create weapons. I think will be true to use the Blueprint.
- Every weapon can be used to create a hat. But only certain combinations of weapons can be used to craft a new one. Example: Gunboats BLUH 12:59, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
- A recipe that uses the current item gets listed under "As a crafting ingredient". The "Blueprint" section is used for recipes whose result is the item. — nVis 13:06, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
Obvious problem with the picture
Oh my god, this is the same on the Darwin's Danger Shield, the picture of the item, on the right, is too big, that's horrible. I don't know how to fix it, can someone competent try ? Jay 20:24, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
Two questions about cloaking
1. Either the Invisibility Watch or the Cloak and Dagger has a louder decloak sound compared to the other. Can anyone confirm?
2. For the CnD, if you don't have enough cloak to keep you completely invisible while moving, do sentries notice you? --Hummus 07:21, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
Distance travelled
Whoever said the Cloak and Dagger can't get you any farther with a single cloak--crouch walking rather than running--is completely wrong. A friend of mine and I tested it in a training game, payload Hoodoo map, starting from the end of the track at red base and sticking to the track as closely as possible. When he continually crouchwalked, he made it to the enemy's base before his cloak ran out. When he just ran, he only barely made it past the middle point. Tyrnigan 20:16, 11 August 2011 (PDT)Tyrnigan
- I'll test it later when I get home. I think you're right but your testing doesn't seem like it was done with the best variables. And is the CnD even on XBOX? SS2R 20:19, 11 August 2011 (PDT)
- It's not. Samrt I am not. Revamping my post. How could my test be improved?
"Due to the mechanics of how the weapon charges and depletes, neither a continual crouch-walking strategy nor a run-and-wait strategy offers any direct benefits in terms of distance traveled, assuming the Spy remains fully cloaked the entire way." This statement is grossly inaccurate.
1. Distance Traveled: Crouch-Walking vs Running On payload Hoodoo. Starting at the end of the track at red base and sticking to the track as closely as possible, compared distance traveled between the two strategies for a single cloak charge. Running scarcely made it past the midway point, while crouch-walking made it to the edge of the blue base.
2. Time Taken: Crouch-Walking vs Run-and-Wait Same map, same path. Compared times taken to get to edge of blue base between the two strategies. Run-and-Wait was about five seconds faster.
Based on my results, I'm taking the liberty of modifying the page. Tyrnigan 20:48, 11 August 2011 (PDT)Tyrnigan

CnD Recharge Time
Doesn't the recharge speed depend on whether or not you are 1. cloaked and 2. moving?
Being uncloaked has the fastest recharge rate. Being cloaked but not moving also regens cloak, but slower. Current function time in table is ambiguous. Chdata (talk) 02:36, 10 August 2014 (PDT)
Slower Decloak?
According to Great Blue's video, the cloak and dagger has a slower decloak speed of around 20%; this is not stated in the wiki, and it would be nice to confirm if this is true, as I have seemed to have noticed it myself.
P.S. the louder decloak sound seems to be due to either a bug or feature that causes the decloak sound to be much louder when running out of cloak, which happens on all invis watches. TheCreeperMan (talk) 02:24, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
