* If a Dead Ringer Spy is hit with the Eyelander, the Demoman still receives a head even if the Spy fakes his death. <small>— The preceding unsigned comment was added by SilverAura (talk) • (contribs) 08:42, 8 June 2011</small>

:That doesn't make any sense though. Technically, the Spy is faking his death, thus the Eyelander would take a head to complete the trick. I don't think this should be classified as a bug. Triscuitable 20:13, 5 August 2011 (PDT)

Maximum overheal
contradiction between pages
Just pointing out that the maximum overheal obtainable isn't 315 hp. It is the limit of the health addition feature; below 315 hp the 15 hp are still added, therefore setting the max overheal at 329 (314+15).

:While this is a useful fact, it would be lengthy to explain and is relatively rare. I propose it be left out of the article in favour of the 315 reference. Squidfeeder 00:17, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

Eye Glow pics
A humble suggestion that may be useful for the page: may anyone make the pictures (or better a, 4 frame picture) of all the eye glow stages (from 1 to 4 head collected)? ----Kid Of The Century 15:18, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

:A quick update: I just tried to do it by myself on TR_Walkway, with <tt>r_drawviewmodel 0</tt> and <tt>cl_drawhud 0</tt>, but unfortunately I don't know if there's any workaround to have a freecam to take good looking pics of the Demo's eye. The <tt>thirdperson</tt> command doesn't help much since the camera is quite far and sticked behind the character. Any suggestion? --Kid Of The Century 11:55, 3 September 2010 (UTC)

it says that it adds 10% per head to base charge damage, yet in the page about charging (https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Charging) it says it adds +10 damage to charge per head, which would be 20%, is this a mistake?

::::Not needed now. The redone Eyelander weapon demonstration now shows the eye glow. Video should be uploaded soon. Or go to the Weapon Demonstration talk and click on eyelander. It's a good video :3 SpaceAnimator 03:54, 17 August 2011 (PDT)

Overheal or Max health
It's my belief that the health given by heads isn't technically overheal but simply an increase in max health. Overheal is classed as temporary health that decreases over time, whereas Eyelander health editions do not decay at all. I'm therefore of a mind to changing this article to purge use of any mention of overheal in the incorrect format.--Focusknock 09:28, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

FOAD sign - Predicting the future!
I think not. If anything, the killing in the sign is coincidental. There's no way it could've had any links to the Eyelander. I mean come on, Meet the Sniper aired June 7th, 2008, where the Eyelander appeared nearly two years later. You mean to tell me Valve decided to look at the sign and think "Eyelander!". --<span style="text-shadow:pink 0px 0px 3px;"><font color=" #FFA6C9"><tt><big>Vaught</big></tt></font></span> 23:24, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

Weapon Demonstration
Request this weapon demonstration be put on the list of demonstrations that must be redone.  This weapon demonstration doesn't compare the move speed increase when heads are gathered.  It also doesn't show the increase in damage done by the "Chargin' Targe"'s shield bash (although that might not be something for the eyelander demonstration).

Shouldn't the quote be "There can only be one!"? Yaridovich23 20:25, 23 July 2011 (PDT)

:Thing is, that blurb was written specifically for the Eyelander, whereas "there can be only one" could be applied to any sword. Thus, I think the current quote is better. It's also a bit easier to understand at first glance for someone who doesn't know anything about the weapon (what is "only one"?) — <span style="font-weight:bold;">Wind</span> 20:28, 23 July 2011 (PDT)

:::: Would you say the same thing about the "Freedom!" voice line then?  There's not a chance in Hell that isn't from Braveheart.  I'd say this is trivia worthy, despite whether Valve directly says so or not.  We have references they didn't flat out say that are just as obvious, the most notable being Balaclavas Are Forever.  Also, for those who haven't seen it, this is the sword from Braveheart; http://tinyurl.com/3ekrgtm SS2R 19:12, 25 August 2011 (PDT)

::::::Balaclavas are Forever's source is found in the name, just like the Eyelander itself being inspired from Highlander. The name itself provides enough proof that it's the inspiration. For this we have a similarlly themed sword, that looks the same as the Eyelander, and was probably inspired by it, but we just don't know for sure. ==Missing overheal table?==

In the warrior's spirit article the max health is listed(wrong, it is mentioned in the text of the article no special table for it), AND also the overheal. In the eyelander article i miss an information about the overheal for the demoman with more and more base hp. Can someone explain that to me, because i don't know the HP for the demoman overhealed with 3heads. Hope someone can explain that to me. TheDoctor(without a small pic) 18:07, 23 October 2011 (PDT)

:150+15 per head, all the way until 4. So about 195 for your answer. <span style="text-shadow:orange 0px 0px 3px;"><font color="#FF6600"><tt><big><u>Fyahweather</u></big></tt></font></span> 18:17, 23 October 2011 (PDT)

::Not really, my question was how much he can be overhealed. Not his base hp with more heads. I want to know it because the spy and his conniver kunai can overheal him up to 300% of base health. So the demoman has a strict base of how much he can be overhealed or does this also rise?

Heads;Base;Overhealed

0;150;225

1;165;247,5(?)

2;180;270

3;195;292,5(?)

4;210;315

That is interesting for me, how does valve set the overheal for the demo for head 1 and 3. Hope it is more clear now. TheDoctor(without a small pic) 05:02, 24 October 2011 (PDT)
