Well, another problem...

Hi, Seb. I have another thing that need your help. Yesterday the zh-hant Wiki had a new guy called Lockon, however he has brought a lot of trouble. First, he changed the names of items without any permission, notice or discussion. Then he ignored and deleted my waring about changing the names. He claimed that his act was trying to "make his talk page looks better". Actually, what he said was totally rubbish. The last one, which is the most unacceptable one, is that he translated the pages (A)Symmetry CP Contest/zh-hant‎ and Dustbowl (Training)/zh-hant‎ with the use of automated translation tool. I can easily confirm that, and my partner jcmbmhitacid can prove the point for me. Lockon used the translation tools, made the whole format of pages a mess, did not use the "show preview" button, and of course, ignore others' warning and trying to pretend that everything was normal. Therefore I strongly insist that Seb should block user Lockon from further editing permanently, or he shall make more trouble and inconvenience for the editors in the zh-hant Wiki.
Thanks for your understanding and help, but be careful with Lockon's behavior, due to his own consideration of having no problems at all.

• ~www~, i had taken your advise for not using any translation tools from yesterday, and today i added some missing photos which should have been thereMerc_Medal/zh-hant. Also i did a page without any translation tools which is the Aerial/zh-hant so i hope you please consider i have taken your complains and improved it thank you.

Chinese Simplify and Chinese Traditional is the same pal , its just different writing, one is easier to write and also its not all the same, also check it agian some items or classes like is changed by me zh-hans: Soldier = 士兵 and zh-hant: Soldier 火箭兵

Further problems

1.Lockon keeps on doing unnecessary edits to zh-hant. For example, He was doing pointless changes to zh-hant pages, copied the article from zh-hans and made it as a contribution, or kept placing {{subst:welcome}} to anyone who are new to wiki, even though he himself are a new guy, I don't even know if there's a real account where he put {{subst:welcome}}. Frankly, I suggest blocking him, quickly, or he will do more things that he claims "contribution to wiki".

2.Same problem, different day, User Bestipod was coping the zh-hant pages (5 pages for now) and converted it into zh-hans. Could need your help to delete the pages.

3.Actually, after being copied for many many times, I am angry, tired, exhausted of their acts. I don't think I can take it anymore. I really wish there's a solution of stopping these acts forever.

I'd like to ask a related question - setting aside the fact that zh-hant is not the same as zh-hans, is there actually any rule against copying the content of a page? As far as I'm concerned, any information posted on the wiki is free for public use so can be copied anywhere - excepting of course images and such which have licenses attached. There are no rules/laws against copying wiki work. This is why some content could be migrated from the old Wiki here and why the fact that some of the pages here are copied directly over there are not punishable. -- Firestorm 10:04, 14 February 2012 (PST)

I never said that. In the case of these translations, it is NOT ok. The problem is not in the copying of another's work, but in the usage of the incorrect language on an article. I am simply clarifying where the issue is. -- Firestorm 10:08, 14 February 2012 (PST)
