I think a "Synopsis" section should be added, like on Wikipedia's (Wikipedia) page. It'd have the sub-sections "Setting" and "Plot," from where we could link to the "Timeline" and other such articles. Shonkybiz 17:27, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

::::This type of announcement would be humongous news. Valve would announce it themselves. We can wait to verify from them, if it is free to play forever...whats the rush? :::::::But isn't the nature of a wiki using information gathered from reliable sources such as newspapers, books, videos, interviews and encyclopedias to create reliable articles? Isn't ignoring a source of information a bigotry thing to do especially given Valve's track record with information such as the ever consistent - "Valve Time"? Also, I wouldn't add information from unreliable sources. It may be my first post here but that is down to current amount of information that has been placed brick by brick and overlay by overlay into an infinite position equalling into - encyclopedia and not wiki, as a wiki emplies "free addition of reliable information" whilst encyclopedia is a forever written document that is never changed. As you've noticed - I take peoples lack of faith in me seriously. LeMansRacer 17:49, 23 June 2011 (PDT)

::::::::Like I've stated before, sure, they may be reliable, but (pretty much) all the information we've gathered for this Wiki has been from in-game, or from Valve. If this is true, I expect Valve will announce it alongside the update, so there isn't exactly long to wait. It's a protected page now, anyway, and I don't see that changing until we hear something straight from the horse's mouth (so to speak). Wingless 17:51, 23 June 2011 (PDT)

Agreed. I'll work at it a bit, but I can't promise a huge "OMG it looks AWESOME now!" kind of change. I will work at what I know, mainly Gameplay. Team Fortress Wiki is NOT Wikipedia! Add a Steam Store button

A Steam Store button could be added - such as "Go to the Steam Store page of [game name]". In this case, it would be "Team Fortress 2".
It would be very similar to the "View listings on the Steam Community Market" button on item pages (such as Ali Baba's Wee Booties).

Get on Steam at the end of the intro should be fine. See Proof of Purchase.

Hi there. Thanks. Could you please add it for me? Google Captcha is having a bad day and doesn't let me proceed even when I select the correct squares. Here's the code:

Thanks in advance.

Hello again. Currently, the template has invalid info, due to the page Template:Dictionary/gameinfo/440 not existing. Bots take time to create them. I had created it for it to be used in this article, but you have deleted it (even though it was 100% correct, because I copy-pasted from the CS:GO page and just changed the name, since both games are free-to-play). The edit to include the template Get on Steam cannot be made as long as this page is not created, which I don't see an issue for it to be created by a user if it fixes the problem.

I don't see a reason not to wait, it's fine if this takes a while as it's not a huge priority or anything. Every dictionary page works this way, and there are multiple warnings stating that edits should only be made on certain pages. It also makes the changes much easier to oversee.
