There are 3 completely different versions of those hats you can have, however with the ability on some to change style to a lesser version. The only difference between this hat and those hats is that the crafted versions from this one can't change style, which does indeed make them their own hats. New players start out with a Gastly Gibus, then the next year/update it becomes Gastlier, Gastlierest, etc, etc. The preceding styles can't be their own hats, they don't get awarded individually. :I have thought about this a bit myself, and I agree that there should be four articles. The three individual craftables are each their own hat, and they function independently. Then there is a store bought item that can take on the form of the others. I agree that the spine-cooling, etc. hats are similar to Bounty and Ghastly in that respect. The only new aspects here are that the "upgraded" hat has no unique style, and there are three different "basic" hats instead of just one. Otherwise, it's the same idea. However it seems the recipe for the craftable versions is still available. I crafted a Spine-Cooling Skull and it had the limited attribute attached, so that answers the question. Can anyone confirm Fashnek's additions?

"When crafting using the Fabricate Haunted Headgear recipe, the player will receive a version of the Spine-Chilling Skull 2011 hat that only has one of the three possible styles. The style of the skull cannot be changed to the other styles. Only hats purchased through the Mann Co. Should we have four pages for this hat? The Spine-Chilling Skull 2011 and the three styles? The styles as their own hats are used for when you craft the haunted metal into one, and it remains that hat forever. Look at the styles page. Pyromancer's Mask, Large Luchadore, and Villain's Veil also have 3 styles like Spine-Chilling Skull 2011; but, because crafted Spine-Chilling Skull 2011 don't have styles i agree its like a Gibus. Glitch?

Limited attribute / craftability

So the Scream Fortress 2014 update added the limited attribute to all the Spine-Chilling Skull 2011 skulls, including the craftable ones.
