Aaah this gun takes me back. Roaming the streets, shooting up anything or anyone I felt like, being on the run from the law, hiding out while the big guns sweep through then BAM! YOU'RE DEAD PAL! Oh wait, that was yesterday. I have the best. Job. EVER!
Baby Face's Blaster publicity blurb

The Baby Face's Blaster is a primary weapon for the Scout. It is a short, but slightly modified lever-action Shotgun with a wooden handle and single barrel.

The Baby Face's Blaster is 40% more accurate when compared to the stock Scattergun, but does 30% reduced damage. This weapon will slow the Scout down from 400 units/second, 133% of the normal movement speed, to 260 units/second, 86% of the normal movement speed. This is 20 units/second faster than a Soldier and 20 units/second slower than a Demoman, making the Scout the third slowest class while the weapon is equipped. However, for every point of damage dealt with any weapon, the Scout builds up a "Boost" meter. As the Boost meter charges, the Scout's speed will linearly increase from 260 units/second to 517.5 units/second, 173% of the normal movement speed. 100 points of damage (with any of the Scout's weapons) are needed to fully fill the boost meter. If the Scout jumps while using the Baby Face's Blaster, the Boost meter is reset, and the momentum during the jump will be decreased to 260 units/second.

The Baby Face's Blaster was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the name "The Brawler's Blaster".

Trivia

  • This weapon's name is a reference to Lester Joseph Gillis, AKA "Template:W", a 1930s bank robber.
