A Chemistry Set is an in-game drop item released in the August 27, 2013 Patch. Chemistry Sets are recipe items that have varying inputs and varying outputs. You can complete a Chemistry Set by fulfilling all of its inputs, which will then give you the items it has listed in its outputs. Curerntly, Chemistry Sets drop a Strangifier for the item the Set is associated with, which, when used with the item, will turn the it into a Strange variant.
Trivia
- Not every Chemistry Set for an item will have the same requirements.
