The Modest Pile of Hat is a headwear item for all Classes. It appears as a single gray bowler hat, not unlike the Spy's Backbiter's Billycock. However, the Modest Pile of Hat is not team-colored, has a thicker rim than the Billycock, and the colors of the two hatbands are visibly different.
The hat description was written by Fredrik1ST and has been slightly edited by Valve.
Trivia
- This hat is likely a reference to the hidden Gentle Manne of Leisure page on the Classless Update.
- A non-ribboned, level 44 Modest Pile of Hat was also given to each runner-up in the Propaganda Contest.
- For a small period of time from its release, the Modest Pile of Hat, the Noble Amassment of Hats, and the Towering Pillar of Hats could be crafted using the Fabricate Class Headgear blueprint. This was later corrected and removed by the January 28, 2010 Patch.
