The Jag is an unlockable community-made melee weapon for the Engineer. The Jag is currently not obtainable in game. It can be found fully textured in the Team Fortress 2 game files, and was displayed in the Steam Update image for the Mann-Conomy Update, implying that it is to be shipped out in a future update. Its abilities, design and stats are currently unknown.
According to Robin Walker in an email to community author Jman, the Jag was originally intended to be a part of The Engineer Update; however it was eventually cut when Valve couldn't figure out attributes for it. Since its assets were mistakenly included in the Mann-Conomy Update, Robin says he intends to give it its own stats and include it as a stand-alone weapon in a future update.
