Action-genstande er brugbare spil genstande. Introduceret i Mann-Conomy Updaten, action-genstande minder meget om værktøjer da nogle har et begrænset antal gange man kan bruge dem. (indikeret med et nummer på deres billed i rygsækken); forskellen er at man tager action-genstande på og bruger dem i deres egen plads. De fleste action-genstande kan kun fås ved at købe dem igennem Mann Co.-butikken, med untagelserne Duelminispil og nogle taunts, disse to kan findes ved genstandessystemet og i nogle forsyningskasser. Action-genstande kan nuværende ikke få's igennem Smednings systemet.

Ved at trykke på actions-knappen(H er standard) bruger man den actions-genstand som man har på i actions pladsen. Hver dog opmærksom på at nogle actions-genstande kan bringe en menu op på skærmen, så det vil derfor være en god ide kun at bruge disse når man er et sikker sted. Duelminispil vil f.eks. have at du skal vælge en modstander som du ønsker at duelere imod, og gaverne vil have dig til at sige du er sikker på at du vil bruge dem. Støg laverer vil dog blive brugt med det samme.

What's in the Companion Square Box?		Contains a Venner for altid-Companion Square-emblemet and a Triple A-emblem, both in Genuine quality when the box is opened.	Given to the Comic-Con San Diego 2012 attendants who redeemed the code distributed with purchasable Companion Square toys.	1
What's in the Portal 2 Soundtrack Box?		This sealed Portal 2 Soundtrack Box will open to reveal its contents at a later date.	Given through a redeamable code inside the CD case of the Portal 2 Soundtrack.	1
