We want you!
... for April Fools 2016! After a two year hiatus, the staff have decided it's time to bring back the annual Team Fortress Wiki April Fools, and we'd love it if you could help out. If interested, join the discussions in IRC and in our improptu organization page. -- Dr. Scaphandre 10:19, 5 January 2016 (PST)

Since you and Hayzze want to talk about the topic of massive edits on the class strategy pages, I have a thread set up for this in my project page. -- Dr. Scaphandre 13:00, 30 January 2016 (PST)

Please don't do that. The warning in the same section says we aren't considering new languages. Don't put Thai in because one editor made one page. Darkid « Talk — Contribs » 14:31, 15 May 2016 (PDT)
- The guy who created that Thai page added, not me. (Look at here) I just re-located though. Anyway, I don't think at the first place that Thai should be there anyway even I'm the Thai translator though. 90% of Thai people never open wiki to read. Rikka Takanashi (talk) • (contributions) 15:55, 15 May 2016 (PDT)
- You modified the official help page, which is why I'm asking you. The action you should've taken is reverting his change. I'm not sure what you mean by either of the other two sentences. Darkid « Talk — Contribs » 16:00, 15 May 2016 (PDT)
- That one is my bad, I forgot that it's official help. About the sentences you asked, Thai people always asks in Facebook group for some stuffs like "Is this weapon good?" or "What can this weapon do?" in general instead of go to our official wiki to read about its attributes and much more. Rikka Takanashi (talk) • (contributions) 16:13, 15 May 2016 (PDT)
Hinaomi read this:
I am certain that you only change my changes because you hate me. LOOK AT THIS SENTENCE BELOW. This is the one that was previously there before I changed it, and you have now changed it back: "While having only 75% of the magazine compared to the Grenade Launcher, these grenades inflict 20% more damage than the Grenade Launcher to buildings upon a direct hit; however, the grenades will shatter harmlessly upon hitting anything other than an enemy player or building, causing no damage whatsoever." This is horrible. You probably didn't check the actual content before you made the change. Firstly, why does it have a negative stat, balanced by a not-so-amazing positive stat? Worst of all, why does it have the other negative stat in the same sentence, but at the end?!?! This is the structure of the sentence, and it is very confusing: ":( this is bad, however :) this is good, however :( this is bad." It is way too confusing for people. Just put all the bad stuff together, and all the good stuff together! And don't sandwich the good thing between two bad things! The good stat is pathetic to be honest, and the bad stats are REALLY bad. You aren't making this weapon very appealing. At least I tried to make it look good, by saying something like, "the faster projectile speed also makes the grenades have less arc and more maximum distance". This shows that, although the Loch-n-Load is a pathetic mess right now, the single good stat it does have (20% damage increase to buildings is laughable, especially since you have a Stickybomb Launcher) is actually more deep then just "more projectile speed". I was showing that the one good statistic actually becomes three. And I also stated something really important: "Bombs can explode after the timer is reached" (or something, I can't remember exactly). This shows that what was previously stated (bombs can only explode when they hit a player or building) is not actually telling us everything. Yes, bombs can only explode when they hit players or buildings (or bosses, which count as neither), but they can also explode if you lob them a good distance. This is important, because a smart Demoman will be able to time the detonation of his grenades without them having to hit something. So please, if you think my changes are bad, at least try to see what I was intending to improve in the first place. Also, here is a possible (not changed too much) improvement of the sentence I just showed you: "These grenades inflict 20% more damage than the Grenade Launcher to buildings upon a direct hit, allowing unattended level 3 buildings to be destroyed in two hits instead of three, while having little effect on other types of buildings; however, the weapon only has 75% of the magazine compared to the Grenade Launcher, and the grenades will shatter harmlessly upon hitting anything other than an enemy player or building, causing no damage whatsoever." Hayzze (talk) 08:31, 13 June 2016 (PDT)
- The projectile arc part is my mistake.
- The rest of the info are unnecessary, like grenades explode after firing for 2.3 seconds (listed in Grenade Launcher, and Loch-n-Load didn't change the self-explode time) or 2 shots level 3 buildings. (I don't see the points why it have to add to, the Homewrecker listed one hit mini-sentry because it's major different)
- I moved from the Loch-n-Load discussion due it against me personally.
- I said to you like 5-6 times that it must follows the style guide. Seem like you don't understand, or maybe you didn't even read it. You always add your own thought or the strategy which is not belong to the weapon page itself.
- Nobody wants to read wall of text, bullers (*) and colon (:) exist for reasons. I'm tired to have to add it everytime you added the comment.
- The comment above showing no respect and being hostile to me. It's not the first time that you didn't listen to me, right? Wiki is the cooperative working, not fighting against each other. If you cannot control your anger (I judged by your caps sentences), it'll cause the trouble even more. Please keep the discussion in civil manner.
- Last but not least, that page is really fine in what it is, just re-add your projectile arc part and it should be done.

You're the person that gets insulted the most in the whole wiki (This opinion is purely subjective)
But don't feel sad, I've got something to make Hinamoi happy again :3

Feedback, please
Excuse me, but why did you undo my change on the Sapper page? And why did it get so many downvotes? I just want some feedback Rhaos (talk) 20:06, 22 July 2016 (PDT)
- The reason I reverted because the default key must be template, (Look at Amputator page for example) the rest was overlooked. If you want to change it back, please do, but please keep my changes I did at the default key. Rikka Takanashi (talk) • (contributions) 23:56, 22 July 2016 (PDT)
- If I may add to this, those aren't downvotes, those are the amount of bytes changed in the page. -100 would mean you took away 100 bytes away, while +100 would mean that you added 100 bytes. Overall, it's just how much you changed the page and which way, not the amount of likes/dislikes the edit has (don't worry, I literally made the same mistake for the longest time when I first started editing). ClockworkSpirit2343 01:28, 23 July 2016 (PDT)
Please don't undo my edits without asking me why I did that.
Hey Hinaomi,
this edit was totally legit since the content in the "trade" and "gift" parameters contains strings to be translated. Since WindBOT automatically fetches the parameters from the English page, all localized versions would be overwritten with that. So please leave it be as is. Don't call me silly. — shots fired by: Nikno {Talk | Contribs} 11:51, 16 August 2016 (PDT)
- You mean like WindBOT take the English parameters and place on other language pages? If it does, well, I'm silly. :/ Rikka Takanashi (talk) • (contributions) 16:04, 16 August 2016 (PDT)
- Indeed, to prevent that you either need to disable that on WindBOT's filters just because of that page (which is stupid since 99.9% of the trade and gift parameters don't have translatable content), or you need to localize it on the English version. — shots fired by: Nikno {Talk | Contribs} 01:12, 17 August 2016 (PDT)
