Area 52 is a custom Mann vs. Machine map made by Woozlez and Zorboz. In Area 52, there are jump pads players can use to reach high areas and a gate robots can capture to get to the hatch quicker. Area 52 is also one of the maps included in the custom event Operation Canteen Crasher. The map offers 4 default missions: 1 Normal, 2 Advanced and 1 Expert. In Canteen Crasher, players can complete the mission Tech Mechs for contract points.
