The Bonesaw is the default melee weapon for the Medic class. It appears to be a worn-out large toothed medicinal saw, such as may be used during operations.

While similar to all melee weapons, this is especially useful for taking out Spies that may be attempting to Backstab the Medic's heal target. In some cases, the bone saw is favored over the Syringe Gun as a combat weapon. Its Critical hit animation is a fast upwards sawing motion.
