系统消息（System messages）是一种由Valve主动向所有正在游玩《军团要塞2》的玩家发送的自定义通知。系统消息不会根据玩家的游戏语言而进行翻译。该系统很少被使用，通常用于广播维护通知，预定的宣传公告，以及锦标赛。
在漫画《骨肉兄弟》作为MvM ARG 解谜的一部分时曾使用过该系统进行公布。
系统消息同时出现在游戏的聊天栏和通知区域中，并伴随着一段嘟嘟声。
