The Halloween Masks are individual unlockable headwear items added as part of the 2010 Halloween Special Event. Like the Mildly Disturbing Halloween Mask, each mask appears as a brown paper bag with a crudely-drawn face of each class with orange devil horns on the front. Any mask can be worn by any class. Masks could be obtained in the Mann Manor map during the Scream Fortress event, where a Halloween Gift would appear every five minutes on a server with 10 or more non-bot players. Unlike the Saxton Hale Mask, these masks may only be worn for the duration of the Scream Fortress Event.
Crafting all nine masks together will result in the Saxton Hale Mask. Currently the masks can only be obtained through trading as the Haunted Halloween Gift will not spawn in Mann Manor outside of the Halloween event. These masks do not work with the Rebuild Headgear crafting recipe.
