Twitch is a live streaming platform, operated by Twitch Interactive, a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc. Most of the community tournaments and special events that are promoted by Valve in the News section of the TF2 Official Website are streamed in this platform.
The "live streams" button of the main menu opens a window in the default browser of the user to the Team Fortress 2 section of Twitch.
